Extremely rare. Many people may be seeing this for the first time.
A 1950s Royal Air Force striped vest.
The vintage shop where I purchased it said it was a hospital garment from the British Air Force.
A jacket made of the same fabric also exists, indicating that it was a set (see image).
It has the British military's mark, the broad arrow.
The gold buttons, with their Air Force design, are also elaborately made.

It's in very good condition for a vintage item of this era.
There is some age-related soiling around the broad arrow, but it's on the back and not a problem.
Perfect for those who want to enjoy fashion with unique vintage pieces.
